Jay Kim is Chief Executive Officer of ATLAS SP. Jay leads the day-to-day operations of ATLAS SP and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and growth of the fund. He serves as the chair of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Investment and Underwriting Committees.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Jay served as Global Head of Fixed Income and Global Head of Securitized Products at Credit Suisse, joining the firm in 2011. In addition, he served as a member of the Investment Bank Management Committee and as a board member of Credit Suisse Holdings USA. Before this, he also served as Co-Head of Securitized Products Origination Group at Barclays since 2001. He began his career as an analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman before transitioning to an associate at Barclays and Salomon Smith Barney.

Jay has a civil engineering degree from Bucknell University.

Ryan Bernholz is Head of Portfolio Partners at ATLAS SP. Ryan is responsible for overseeing the investment and securitization of loans across residential, ABS and CRE. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Investment and Underwriting Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Ryan was Co-Head of Securitized Products Trading at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2002. Before this, Ryan held several different roles at Credit Suisse including running the CMO, agency CMBS, and non-agency residential mortgage trading businesses.

Ryan received his BS in Finance and Economics from Lehigh University. As a former collegiate All-America wrestler, Ryan is on the board of the Lehigh Valley Wrestling club, a not-for-profit organization focused on providing elite amateur wrestlers an environment where they can pursue world and Olympic aspirations.

Patrick “PJ” Hart is Head of Portfolio Management at ATLAS SP. PJ is responsible for portfolio management and oversees non-recourse lending. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, PJ was Head of the Conduit and Warehouse Financing in the Securitized Products Group at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2014. Before this, PJ worked in various positions at First Republic Investment Management and Lehman Brothers/Barclays.

PJ received his BS in Civil Engineering with a minor in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Patrick is Co-Head of Distribution at ATLAS SP. Patrick is responsible for partnering with ATLAS’s origination, structuring and trading teams to enable seamless connectivity and distribution to the client base. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Patrick was Head of Securitized Products Sales at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2014. Before this, he served as Head of Global Securitized Products and US Sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and held various Sales roles at Salomon Brothers/Citi and Prudential Securities.

Patrick received his BBA in Marketing from The George Washington University.

Robert Jee is Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at ATLAS SP. Rob is responsible for the development and management of our legal and compliance policies, procedures and programs, while working closely with our business teams to optimize our business operations. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Rob was the Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel for Guggenheim Partners Investment Management, with responsibility for the Firm’s U.S., European and Asian institutional investment management business and most recently as Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel for Guggenheim’s global investment banking business. Prior to this, Rob advised clients in the U.S., Europe and Asia on corporate finance transactions and securities law and regulation for a firm he founded, Jee, LLC. Previously, he was an investment banking and capital markets attorney for Morgan Stanley and later Morgan Stanley’s Chief Legal Officer for Australia.

Rob is a New York Attorney and an English Solicitor and holds a law degree from York College of Law and undergraduate degree in Law from University of Southampton, both in the UK.

Craig Leonard is Co-Head of Distribution at ATLAS SP. Craig is responsible for partnering with the product verticals to enable the distribution and execution of all new issue transactions. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Underwriting Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Craig was Head of Securitized Products Syndicate at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2010. Before this, Craig served as the Head of the Securitized Products Syndicate at Barclays Capital.
Craig received his BS in Business Administration and Management from St. John Fisher College and an MBA from Fordham University.

Aaron Lipeles is Chief Technology Officer at ATLAS SP. Aaron oversees all aspects of technology and drives the design and implementation of the ATLAS SP technology strategy, building a resilient, secure, and dynamic infrastructure backbone designed for growth and innovation. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Aaron served as Global Head of Enterprise Data and Analytics at Credit Suisse. Over the course of his career, Aaron held various technology leadership roles at UBS Investment Bank, Bloomberg LP, and others.

Aaron received his BA in Philosophy from Tufts University and his M.A. and M.Phil. in Philosophy from CUNY Graduate Center.

Matt Masso is Co-Head of Origination at ATLAS SP. Matt is responsible for overseeing the origination teams across their client coverage, financing, advisory and capital markets efforts globally on transactions secured by residential real estate, commercial real estate and all consumer/commercial asset classes. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Matt was Head of CRE Finance in the Securitized Products Group at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2013. Before this, Matt worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Real Estate Structured Finance group.

Matt received his BS in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University.

Ashley Matteo is Chief Risk Officer at ATLAS SP. Ashley provides oversight of the firm’s spectrum of risk-taking activities encompassing economic risks including credit, market, liquidity as well as other core risks including operational and reputation risk. She is developing controls and governance across ATLAS SP activities. She is a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and a voting member of the ATLAS SP Investment and Underwriting Committees.

Ashley joined ATLAS SP from Citigroup where she was the Head of first line Risk in Equities managing risk activity across Global Equities. Over the course of her career, Ashley held various leadership roles in Risk and in Markets, covering Structured Products, Equities and Credit. Ashley began her career in 2004 at Citigroup as an investment banking analyst in the Financial Institutions Group.

Ashley received her BA from University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Columbia Business School.

Sean Lacerte McKenna is Chief Operating Officer of ATLAS SP. Sean is responsible for overseeing the firm’s governance, compliance, operations and technology, as well as ensuring coordination across the platform to meet our investment and client needs. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Investment and Underwriting Committees.

Prior to ATLAS SP, Sean focused on business and product development, funding and hedging initiatives in the Securitized Products Group at Credit Suisse Before this, he served as Partner, General Counsel and COO at C12 Capital Management LP, the formation of which Sean led as a $14bn credit and macro fund carve-out from Barclays Bank in 2009. He has held various positions across trading, structuring and origination at Barclays, Lehman Brothers, and Deutsche Bank. At Barclays, Sean was a senior member of the mortgage trading desk that purchased over $55bn in assets from the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy estate. Sean began his career as a corporate, derivatives, securitization and restructuring lawyer at New York law firms Skadden Arps and Weil Gotshal.

Sean received his BA in Social Studies, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and his JD from University of Virginia School of Law.

Arielle Savino is Chief of Staff at ATLAS SP. Arielle is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategy of the firm and acts as an adviser to the CEO. She serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee.

Prior to ATLAS SP, Arielle was Chief of Staff in the Securitized Products Group at Credit Suisse. Before this, she served as a COO in the group. Arielle began her career with Credit Suisse in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant in the Private Bank.

Arielle received a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware.

George Travers is Chief Financial Officer at ATLAS SP. George is responsible for financial reporting, treasury, valuation, business planning and tax activities. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee, co-chair of the Liquidity, Valuation and Expense Allocation Committees and a voting member of the Underwriting committee.

Prior to ATLAS SP, George was Chief Financial Officer of Apollo Global Management’s Credit Business from 2014-2022, overseeing growth from $55 billion AUM to over $350 billion AUM. He was also a divisional co-chair of the Apollo Women’s Empowerment Network. From 2007 to 2014, George was the global Fund Controller for direct hedge funds and mutual funds at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. From 2005 to 2007, George was the Chief Financial Officer for Dillon Read Capital Management. From 1990-2005, George worked at Deloitte, serving as Partner from 2000-2005 in the Capital Markets practice.

George is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant (nonp) and a member of the AICPA and New York Society of CPAs. George received his BBA in Accounting with High Honors from University of Notre Dame and received his MBA in Finance, Summa Cum Laude, from Columbia University.

Evan Tyner is Chief Human Resources Officer at ATLAS SP. Evan is responsible for overseeing the organization’s talent recruitment, training and development, diversity and inclusion, total rewards, and employee relations. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Evan was a Managing Director in Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice where he advised multinational financial services organizations as they strategized, designed, and executed global talent management programs, pre- and post-merger integrations, and various HR and workforce initiatives. Before this, Evan served as a leader in Deloitte’s Human Capital, Investment Management and Real Estate consulting practice, where he started his career.

Evan received his BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and his MBA from Columbia Business School.

Stephen Viscovich is Co-Head of Origination at ATLAS SP. Steve is responsible for overseeing the origination teams across their client coverage, financing, advisory and capital markets efforts globally on transactions secured by residential real estate, commercial real estate and all consumer/commercial asset classes. He serves as a member of the ATLAS SP Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining ATLAS SP, Steve was Head of ABS Finance in the Securitized Products Group at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2000. Before this, Steve worked at Prudential Securities in the ABS Capital Markets group.

Steve received his BA in Economics from Columbia University.
